Moser a Sponsor of the First DC Big Data Conference.

Moser is proud to be a sponsor of the inaugural Washington Big Data Conference speaker line-up. The Conference will take place on Monday, October 2, at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in downtown D.C.

The conference keynotes include Daniel Morgan, Chief Data Officer for the United States Department of Transportation talking about Data, Access and Partnerships from both current and future state. Plus, Jan Neumann, Director of all Artificial Intelligence (AI) for Comcast, will be presenting about how to utilize data science and machine learning to improve the customer experience. Sokwoo Rhee, Associate Director of Cyber-Physical Systems Program for the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) will present on the Internet of Things (IoT) and Smart Cities Strategies.

The inaugural Washington Big Data Conferences includes a Visualization Challenge; where participants will be asked to track the area’s opioid abuse and identify – using the data sets provided and any additional data sets – up to 10 unique contributing factors to the abuse. Sponsors will have up to 10 minutes to unveil and visually depict their solution, during the Conference general session.

Moser representatives will be at booth 501 in the exhibit hall. The breakout session speakers are equally as talented as the keynote speakers with leaders from companies like Lyft presenting about how they are utilizing big data to provide better access to transportation for patients. Other breakout session speakers will present on how they are using some of the hottest tools in big data to disrupt the financial markets and more.
